Component Mechanical Seal - Dynamic, Unbalanced, with Cups

Notes

The bellows are best seated when the surfaces of the shaft and sleeve are not too smooth or polished.
It is advisable to install the bellows with the help of low-surface-tension water as lubricant (do not use oil or grease).
Stationaries for Type 170 INCH are usually selected in accordance with the given installation dimensions. The dimensions L2 and L7 are derived accordingly from the stationary part.

Convincing Arguments!

DEPAC offers a complete, attractively priced range of mechanical seals with elastomer bellows specially for OEMs.

The various types are designed for applications in the most diverse installation spaces.

Using elastomer bellows has many advantages:

  • Rotating unit already preassembled
  • No sticking of O-rings
  • No scoring on shafts and shaft sleeves
  • Optimum absorption of movements due to shocks and vibrations
DEPAC mechanical seals - like this one - are delivered without stationaries. Stationary part DS 4 is normally used with this seal version. Other stationaries will change the installation length.

This low-cost mechanical seal alternative is a good choice particularly for high-volume requirements!

DEPAC-Advantages
  • Rotating unit already preassembled
  • Independent of the direction of rotation
  • Low costs
  • Can be used with various stationary faces
  • For short and DIN-compliant installation spaces
  • No scoring of shaft sleeves
