Type 140
  • Mounted outside
  • Balanced
  • Carbon face with stainless steel armoring

  • Hastelloy C springs

Convincing Arguments!

Balanced mechanical seals work with lower face pressure. This means lower face friction and therefore less wear on the face pair. The mechanical seal lasts longer!

Seals for mounting on the outside are the answer when there is little room in the stuffing box. As an additional benefit, no metal comes into contact with the medium. This mechanical seal is an economical option for highly aggressive media.
DEPAC-Advantages
  • No metal parts in contact with the medium
  • Balanced for longer life
  • Independent of the direction of rotation
  • Can be used with various stationary faces
